Discovery Aquatics offers a premium selection of Fish, Corals, Live Rock and Invertebrates. Almost every item we carry is considered Reef Safe and is carefully examined to help ensure a long and healthy life in your saltwater aquarium. Because of this commitment, we avoid creatures that do not survive in captivity and are better left in the ocean. All of the photos below are examples of past or current livestock.

Corals

Here is a small list of fish that we frequently order. We can always special order any item. We typically have 100+ different varieties of coral at any given time. All of corals We treat ALL of our corals with ReVive to help eliminate Pests like brown flatworms, sundial snails, nudibranchs, little red bugs and acropora eating flatworms. Because we are not perfect, we recommend quarantining any new livestock.

Invertebrates

A clean-up crew is essential to any saltwater reef aquarium. Invertebrates like Shrimp, Crabs, Snails and Starfish help remove waste from the water, stir the sand and eat algae. They also add another interesting aspect to your fish tank.

If your aquarium has hair algae, we recommend 1 Astrea Snail Per Gallon to help alleviate the problem.

Live Rock

Our Live Rock is free of pests! How can we do this? We start by hand selecting the best pieces of dry base rock. Then we seed the rock with our cultures of different pods and bacterias. This means you get all the good, without the bad.
